Although the Orlando is the first people carrier to be built on an all-Chevrolet platform, the Tacuma is the first MPV to ever bear a Chevrolet badge. This is because the Tacuma is Daewoo-derived, first launched in 2000 and rebadged as a Chevrolet in 2005.
Unfortunately the Tacuma was badly in need of an update in order to remain competitive, and it didn't receive one. This resulted in the car falling behind its more modern competitors that simply had more to offer for similar money and as a result, the Chevrolet Tacuma was withdrawn during a rationalisation of the entire Chevrolet range in Europe in 2008. Plans for the launch of the Orlando in 2010 only served to hasten its discontinuation.
There is a chronic shortage of parts and accessories for the Chevrolet Tacuma in the UK. So few models are on the road that main dealers do not usually hold any stock of parts for this car and to exasperate the problem, Chevrolet dealers are few and far between in comparison with other manufacturers.
We are one of only a few dedicated retailers offering a full set of tailored car mats for the Chevrolet Tacuma. Our set is supplied as a set of four pieces and is made from the best carpets and bindings to ensure a quality product that is designed to last.
