The Dodge Nitro is one cool customer. Although the Caliber sold more units, the Dodge Nitro is definitely the most memorable car Dodge have ever sold in the UK due to its rugged, military styling and hardcore image.
Although the Nitro was originally intended as a rival to the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento, in reality it is more likely to attract buyers considering a Jeep Cherokee, a Suzuki Grand Vitara, or perhaps a niche vehicle like the Daihatsu Terios. Either way, the Nitro sold well in this country in comparison to other Dodge models, however it was withdrawn when Dodge pulled out of the UK market in 2010.
